Regional Sales Manager – USA (Fort Wayne, IN.)

Fort Wayne Wire Die, Inc. would be nowhere without its successful sales team. We’re seeking a qualified regional sales manager to help sell the products and services that our customers rely on. The regional sales representative will have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Occasionally tasked with giving presentations and trade shows, the regional sales representative must be both personable and professional.

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of the Sales Manager for the Americas, you will manage existing accounts and develop new accounts within the territory that includes Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Develop and execute short-term and long-term sales plans focused on profitable market penetration in said territory.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS
1. Make sales calls to existing and developmental customer base within the territory.
2. Obtain product market share by working with Sales Manager to develop the annual sales strategy for the territory.
3. Complete sales call reports for review by Sales Manager and other appropriate FWWD personnel.
4. Provide market information for management by supplying short and long-term sales forecasts for special reports, budgets, and analyses.
5. Develop multilevel contacts and relationships at accounts within the territory.
6. Assess competition by comparing our company’s pricing and products to that of competitors within the territory.
7. Communicate and facilitate customer information to manufacturing and engineering on special projects and special orders to provide adequate customer service.
8. Maintain or create specification information with active customers.
9. Keep informed of current market trends and competitive developments.
10. Develop key account plans for the top 10 accounts within the territory on an annual basis.
11. Assist with special projects and teams as required.
12. Develop and execute sales strategy for the territory with the Sales Manager.
13. Perform miscellaneous duties and assignments as assigned by the supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• A BS in Business, Industrial Management, Sales/Marketing, or Engineering is the minimum requirement.
• Five or more years of experience in Sales/Marketing with supervision/managerial experience a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
